How the compact dispense system works
MicroDraught uses specially designed cans and an air pump. The unit pierces the can and pushes the beer through a standard Guinness Draught spout. It does not need a traditional keg, beer line or gas cylinder. Staff still deliver the recognisable two-part pour with its surge and settle.
From the lobby bar to the restaurant
Consider hotel lounges, restaurants, rooftop bars, event spaces and bars where guests ask for Guinness but available space or expected throughput does not justify another permanent line. In a five-star or design hotel, a large branded tap tower may not belong on the guest-facing bar. Where the service plan and layout allow it, a compact MicroDraught unit can sit on a service counter, in the backbar or in the kitchen. Staff pour the pint there and carry it to the guest. The front bar remains calm and brand-neutral while Guinness can still earn a place on the menu.
Have the final position assessed for working space, power, cooling, hygiene, staff movement and maintenance. The unit must remain accessible to the team and be operated in line with Guinness and dispense-specialist guidance.
