This notice covers use of this Green Acres website. It provides a product catalogue, brand information and articles. You cannot place an order or subscribe to a newsletter here. Account applications are handled through our customer application form. Orders are placed through our B2B webshop.
The 18+ check
Alcohol pages ask for your birth year. We only ask for your birth day and month if you turn 18 this year. The check runs in your browser. The website does not send the date to Green Acres or store it. Only a successful ‘18 or over’ result is kept in sessionStorage, so you do not need to repeat the check on every page within the same tab. Your browser manages this session information and normally removes it when you close the tab.
Cookies and statistics
Our pages do not load Green Acres advertising trackers or analytics cookies by default, so we do not show a consent banner for those purposes. YouTube may load when the video section comes into view or when you start a video. The related data processing is described below. Functional session storage for the age check is described above.
Hosting and other websites
This website is hosted through OpenAI Sites. The hosting service may process technical information to deliver and secure the website; see OpenAI’s privacy policy. When you follow a link to our B2B webshop or another website, that service’s privacy and cookie terms apply. The age check here is not passed on as proof of identity or an age check for an order.

Submitting a customer application
The application form collects your registered and trading names, KvK and VAT numbers, contact details, billing address, invoice email and delivery details. Green Acres uses these details to review your trade application, contact you and, following approval, prepare your customer account. Applying does not automatically give you ordering access.
Storage and email notifications
Your application is first saved in this website’s database, through OpenAI Sites and its underlying hosting service Cloudflare. Only authorised administration can view and download saved applications. We then use the email service Resend to send the submitted details and your reference to contact@greenacrefoods.nl. Your contact email is used as the reply-to address so we can respond to you. Resend and our email provider process the message content and technical information needed to send, receive and secure the email. See Resend’s privacy policy.
If the email notification does not arrive, your saved application remains available for review. The receipt shown on this website confirms that the application has been saved. This form does not send you an automatic confirmation email. Applications are not automatically sent to Exact or our B2B webshop; approved applications are processed separately.
Retention and security
We retain application details and the related email to handle your application and any resulting customer relationship. We review closed applications and their related emails at least annually and delete personal information once it is no longer needed, unless a legal obligation or another justified reason requires longer retention. This review is carried out manually; the website does not delete applications automatically. You can request access, correction or deletion using the contact details in this notice.
To protect the form from abuse, we temporarily store a value derived from your IP address using a secret key and time window, together with the number of attempts. These security records expire after one hour and are cleared when a subsequent application is processed. The original IP address is not stored in the application record; the hosting service may keep its own technical logs. We do not save the details you enter in your browser’s local storage.
YouTube videos
This website includes videos played through YouTube. The Bulldog loads automatically when at least half the video is in view. The Mango’s and The Entourage Group videos load when you choose ‘Play video’. We do not display a separate permission window for these videos. The Slainte video is served directly through our own website.
Bulldog playback is attempted at 20% volume. If your browser blocks autoplay with sound, we try muted playback. You can control sound and playback yourself. When reduced motion is requested, automatic playback stays off and the player loads only when you start the video yourself.
Loading the YouTube player and associated software connects your browser to YouTube/Google. Google may process your IP address and device details and use cookies or similar technologies. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed mode. This limits personalisation but does not prevent all processing by Google. See Google’s privacy policy and the guidance on embedded videos.
